Mangmang is an Chinese-speaking independent magazine born out of the 2022 wave of protests in China, founded by a group of young expatriates who continue to draw on a pool of China-focused writers. Through reports, essays, reviews and art, they combat censorship by publishing about Chinese history, activism, the Chinese community abroad and connecting stories.
